Hello Keijo,

will we meet you in Mücke again?

Heres a source for the gear spring.

If sending costs are to high, do not hesitate to ask here for assistance!

This is for the Change, maybe you work with Google-translator first and ask if things are unclear.

Ach die gute alte Schaltfeder.
:-)
My advise : don't change if not broken.

Thank you for information! I will only to have one spare if I am coming to Mucke..I am not sure it depens my holiday and for the moment I am only one from Finland, of cource I like to come.. 8-)
Other guestion: what kind of oil you prefer to use V11, manual say 5W 40 I think 10W60 also good, racing oil?
Kind regards Keijo

Regarding oil : 10W is good enuff. No need in Finland for the more liquid 5W that is needed for lower temperatures, as long as you don't ride in the winter season.

As for the other rating :
I'd always go for W60 rather than W40. It assures a more stable oil film under any conditions.

I have noted down the same instructions that Martin gave also from "Ludentoni".

I translate as a “quote” some of his lines:

Please forget the user manual, there they give for V11 5W40, which is needed only for the Hydro-Calis. Both models were built at the same time and this nonsense was also taken into the manuals and even to the workshop posters. The information is wrong for V11. 10W60 belongs to V11. The user manual is not decisive, but the later oil-info from Moto Guzzi. Summary: oil change with filter, 4 liters of 10W60, fully synthetic.

4L so that there will be no oil warning light during acceleration: instead of Roper Plate installation, just 0,5L more oil.

Hi Mika,

good summary.

Here the technical Note:

The V 11 is not listed in the Note, the Cali engine is almost same.
